Archery
GCHS Archery competed at the KHSAA Region 5 Archery Tournament on at Anderson County High School.
The team finished in sixth place with a score of 1895.
Nicholas Brewer was the top scoring male on the team with score of 278.
Lydia Smith was the top scoring female on the team with a score of 277.
Baseball
The Braves varsity team fell to Bourbon County 7-1.
JV tool a 9-3 victory over the Colonels.
Tuesday, March 19
Basketball
Congratulations to Lady Braves Jada Cummins and Olivia Ginn; and Braves player Spencer Breeden for being named to the KABC All Region Team for the 8th Region.
Baseball
The Braves varsity team took on Ludlow at home, beating them 8-3.
Softball
The Lady Braves traveled to Henry County where the varsity team claimed a 4-0 win.
The JV team fell to Henry County 7-0.
Wednesday, March 20
The Braves made a road trip to Owen County.
Varsity won 5-0.
JV squeaked by the Rebels 7-6.
Thursday, March 21
Baseball
The freshmen hosted the Great Crossing Warhawks for a double-header and took a pair of crushing losses, 15-0 and 18-1.
The varsity and JV teams traveled to Scott County to play Great Crossing.
The JV Braves fell to the Warhawks 6-0.
Varsity lost 9-1.
Softball
The Lady Braves played at home against Boone County.
The JV team took a 4-3 victory.
The varsity won decisively, 7-0.
